A Note From Ronnie
The opening note frames Volume 1 as a record of what actually happened, not a polished corporate origin story. The work came first. The publication came after.
What Built Volume 1
Five pieces carry the issue: expansion, the founder interview, a hard Road Log run, the first-year photo essay, and Steve somehow getting the back cover.
Expansion Looks Good in Black
A second truck was not a vanity purchase. Commercial demand had reached the point where one truck could no longer carry the whole operation.
One Truck Built the Business
RH-01 carried the early business. As commercial accounts grew, the second truck turned expansion from a nice idea into operating capacity.
Monster With Ronnie
The founder feature steps outside the truck for a minute and looks at the person building the business, brand, software, media, and whatever Steve thinks his job is.
Reliable Doesn't Have to Mean Forgettable
The interview continues into growth, the operating team, and why personality and reliability were never treated as competing ideas.

The Road Log gets a full-page field image before Steve contributes the sort of operational feedback nobody asked him for.
The First Year
The first-year essay lets the images carry the story: original truck, field work, branding, Steve appearances, trailers, and the business slowly looking more like itself.

The final photo spread is the visual receipt: flatdeck, enclosed trailer, equipment moves, and the larger operation that did not exist at the beginning of the year.
